Reputation - Utilise the tagging feature

Tagging is one of the most impactful features on Reputation management

Here's a list of 5 categories to monitor to take full advantage of tagging:

1. Cleanliness

A cleanliness failure can be fatal for a restaurant. Following HACCP is fundamental, but it's equally important to listen and react to the negative cleanliness reviews from our customers.

Tags Examples: Dirty Bathroom, Bad Smell - Kitchen, Dirty Tables.

2. Service

Time is money and that's easy to prove in the restaurant world. Slow service can make the customer dissatisfied and unwilling to return. Watch for comments like "We waited over an hour" and use a tag such as "Slow Service".

If at the end of the week/month our Tagging Insights show you that this Tag was used often for a location, have a chat with the  manager and team there to make the service more efficient.

Tag Examples: Slow Service, Long Waiting Time - Main Course, Long Waiting Time - Dessert.

3. Staff Motivation and Friendliness

Employee motivation greatly affects their performance. Good contributors are often mentioned in customer reviews. A good way to keep the team motivated is to use a tag with the employee's name each time it's mentioned in a comment. At the end of the month, you can see in our Tagging Insights who was the most mentioned, and award a good performance prize.

Tag Examples: Alexander Smith, Paulo Roxas, Kelly Clarkson.

4. Food & Beverage Popularity

Analyse the popularity of your food and drinks by tagging each time that a dish or drink is mentioned in a customer review.

Tag Examples: Miso Soup , Neapolitan Pizza.

5. Growth

It's common to have locations with comments like, "I love this restaurant, but it's always full when I try to go." The frequency of comments like this can be a business indicator of which neighbourhood or city it's worth to open a new location.
