Duplicate Items

If two menu items are actually the same and should be one item, you should archive one of these items. Archiving won't erase any historical data but will provide cleaner and more accurate Food & drink reporting on your insights going forward.
To Archive an item:
If both items have POS Items linked to them, first unlink it from the one you are archiving:
1. Make sure the item is not live on any menus. If it is, remove it from the menu.
2. Unlink any POS item(s) for the duplicate Item you are archiving, then choose yes to removing previous insights, and save.
3. Archive the item
4. Link the POS item with the Item you are keeping.
